  1. I understand you have issues with certain scenes from the prison fight involving the punisher taking down a large number of thugs. I would like to remind you of the court scene when Frank’s commanding officer is describing his judge of character and calls him a “survivor”. He goes into detail about Frank being out gunned and out numbered but somehow surviving. So is it really farfetched to believe he could take down 10 (counted) lightly armed thugs? I like to believe that Frank’s “will power” is his special ability. He has “the thing” that is best described in the film Rambo, that snaps and pushes him to survive regardless of the odds. This is very much a parallel to Daredevil himself, for he has something similar. You miss the theme of the season, “How do you cope with the morality of violence?”. The punisher kills, Daredevil doesn’t, but sometimes even killing is necessary, even if it goes against your religious beliefs. The main difference from season 1 and season 2 is that the characterization is played out through Daredevil’s interaction with other characters that mirror pieces of him.

    1. Couldn’t have said it better myself. A great session, but I felt like a lot of the complaints about the Punisher were answered in the show. Such as his switching to being so crazy. They said, it wasn’t just that his family was murdered, getting shot in the head destroyed his ability to differentiate between right and wrong.

  2. ‘s Frank Castle. He’s not the hero of the piece, so they can play free and loose with his morality. But he’s not the villain either, and that’s exactly the groundwork for a character like Frank to thrive in. He’s a guy who’s equally at home
